Dear Editor of the Duster,
I write to you today to discuss the position that you have held for several semesters. You have led a small army of writers, and I believe it is time for all your hard work to be acknowledged. You took charge of this paper and led us well. With graduation just around the corner, I want to thank you for leading us. Yes, this is a letter from one of the writers that you have challenged, watched grow, and to whom you’ve become a close friend. As I type these words, I shed tears. I shall miss you, my dear friend. With these tears in my eyes, I know that you will do great things for this world. Lubbock Christian University has been a training ground for you, and now is the time for you to be a force to be reckoned with from now on. Words cannot truly express the amount of gratitude we all hold for you. I am so thankful to have known you, and I sincerely hope that this is not the end of our friendship. I love you, Christopher. Now, go get that diploma!
